Great campgrounds and state parks welcome you to Cape Cod

Among the choices of Cape Cod lodgings and accommodations are public and private campgrounds. Campgrounds are operated at state forests and state parks on Cape Cod, including Nickerson State Park, Scusset Beach State Reservation, and Shawme-Crowell State Forest. Many private campgrounds also operate in Cape Cod, placing visitors close to the towns of Falmouth, Hyannis, and Provincetown. A stay at a Cape Cod campground is a wonderful and inexpensive outdoor vacation for children and families, and people who love the beach, fishing, swimming, boating, and hiking.

Nickerson State Park

Shawme-Crowell State Forest

This quiet year-round campground onn Cape Cod has more than 285 sites in a wooded setting. More than 15 miles of roads and trails provide hiking and horseback riding access to more than 700 acres. Camping fee includes parking at the beach at Scusset State Reservation. Camping season is mid-April through mid-October. Amenities include restrooms, interpretive programs, picnicking, showers, trailer and RV dumping. Off-season camping is available Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
